  • BeyondBlue: An Australian organisation that provides links and information on mood disorders, including bipolar disorder.
  • mcmanweb: Developed and maintained by  John McManamy, a former journalist who lives with bipolar disorder.  Site provides information and updates on current research and issues.
  • PsychoEducation.org: Developed by Dr Jim Phellps provides extensie information and links. 
  • Black Dog Institute: The Black Dog is an education and research Institute.  Its site includes information and opportunites for research participation.
  • Bipolar.com.au: This is the Eli Lilly bipolar site.  It contains lots of information and tools,  including links to support web sites.

Depression

  • Blue Pages: Provides information about depression. Developed at the Centre of Mental Health Research at the Australian National University.
  • MoodGym: This is a free self help program which uses cognitive behavioural therapy to help people vulnerable to depression.  Developed at the Centre of Mental Health Research at the Australian National University.
